We are excited to welcome you to our dental family. Our team is here to discover the signs and symptoms of your oral concerns, focusing on your dental health.

First Appointment

We have an amazing dental office in Alpharetta, GA that will make you feel right at home from your first step through the door. During your first appointment, we will do a comprehensive evaluation of your dental condition. This step will allow us to create a thorough and thoughtful plan to restore your oral health. Keep in mind that it is better to solve a health-related concern as soon as a sign of a problem is detected, as opposed to addressing a disease once it has moved to the symptom stage.

Prior to your appointment, we ask that you click on the link to our NEW PATIENT FORMS fill them out, save to your computer, and print completed form, and bring them with you to your first appointment along with a picture ID and insurance card, if appropriate. You can also print the forms blank and fill in with pen, and bring to first appointment. Prior to appointment, it would be great if you have insurance, please call us at 770.475.7551 to provide that information so that we can review your insurance coverage and be aware of your specific policy coverage and benefits. Please let us know if you have any questions!

What Is Included in Your First Appointment?

Medical and Dental History Evaluation

We will review your medical and dental history. Additionally, we will discuss any concerns that you may have about your oral health.

Photographs

We will take a full set of intraoral photographs to establish a baseline. These pictures will help us understand any possible issues.

X-Rays

Dental X-rays are an important part of routine dental care for adults and children. They can detect common problems and help our team identify gum disease. Dental X-rays also allow us to see inside the tooth, revealing problems that we could never see with a traditional examination.

Complete Examination

In addition to the dental exam, we will conduct a TMJ and bite examination. During this process, we will check for tension or tenderness, as well as signs of grinding or clenching. Afterward, we will review our findings with you in detail, discuss a treatment plan, and address your questions. Our examination also includes your gums. When we know the health condition of your gum, we will be able to determine the type of dental cleaning that is best for you.
